I hope this is a wright tema to ask about a format of Champions League.
In all PC Futbols, PC Calcio and Premier Manager Champion League format is 6 groups, 6 winners + 2 best runner-ups advance in 1/4 final. But in PC Futbol 7 con extension I was very happy to see that new system is implemented because of season 1999/00 Champions League format changes to 8 groups- 2 best advance to new 4 groups- 2 best advance to 1/4 final.
Question is: Can you change a format of CL in previous edicions of the game? Which file changes the format in PC Futbol 7 (in Extensions there are folders DBDAT, sfx and simuldat)? It will be great to implement that format of CL to older PC Futbols or Premier Manager which is my favorite game!
***Also, with extension (I played just one season so I can't tell 100%) there is a rule that teams from same country could not be drawn together in groups which is very good as it is a official rule of UEFA CL but sin extension and in PC Calcio 7 I've seen 2 teams from same country play in same group of CL which can be considered as a bug. In Premier Manager 99 I've never seen 2 teams from same country plays in same group. I hope you can help. Todos mejores!
